the fires are lit, our glasses full. the duke insists you join us.
The Duke of Cumberland’s Head has stood in Clifton since 1774. It’s a pub with history in its walls and life in its bar, still serving with the same spirit that’s carried it through the centuries.
The kitchen focuses on seasonal, high quality ingredients treated with precision. Dishes that feel rooted yet refined.
Beyond the restaurant & bar, the cherry tree garden opens wide, giving space for fresh air, pints in the sunshine and long meals beneath the sky.
Upstairs, bedrooms are being prepared and will be open soon. A new chapter in a pub that has always welcomed people to stay as long as they please.
